10Pips Forex Affiliate ScamFollowing up on the recent events and the audacity of 10Pips to shut down their affiliate program, ForexAffiliates Review informs all forex affiliates and forex webmasters to proceed with caution in regards to 10Pips and the 10Pips Affiliate Program.

Irit Rutenberg, the forex affiliate manager at 10Pips sent an email on the 13th of July informing that they would not be paying out for any traders refered to 10Pips from 2200GMT, July 14th. Upon asking Irit as to the reasons behind this change and if 10Pips Affiliates would resume their affiliate program later, there were no questions answered.

This raises the issue of how some forex brokers and the forex affiliate programs promoting these forex brokers are fraudulent in nature. The basic question that comes to anyone’s mind is, when the 10Pips affiliate program is in itself such fraudulent, we doubt if traders are anymore secure in regards to their monies with 10Pips.

ForexAffiliates Review, is surprised at the sudden change of policies at 10Pips Affiliates. What’s even more strange is that the 10Pips Affiliate program still accepts new affiliate sign ups. For affiliates who have already signed up with 10Pips, we understand that some of them weren’t informed of the change.

If you are an affiliate looking to promote 10Pips, then we adivse you to proceed with caution.

ForexAffiliates Review will monitor 10Pips and the 10Pips Affiliate program. However, it is unlikely that we will ever reinstate 10Pips Affiliate program ever again.

If you are hit by this sudden affiliate scam by 10Pips Affiliates, we encourage you to join our forum. Our aim is to get rid of the scam forex affiliate programs and ensure that forex affiliates and webmasters are dealt with fairly.

The core of the issue is:

  • It is virtually impossible for websites promoting 10Pips to change all their affiliate links and take down the content.
  • Forex Affiliates who voiced their concerns are helpless as they have no way to fight back and feel cheated
  • 10Pips fails to give a definitive answer or shed any light in regards to their decision to stop accepting affiliate traffic.
  • 10Pips is managed by Geostrading Ltd. A search on Geostrading reveals that they are the company behind Plus500
  • Which brings to the next obvious question… Plus500 will follow suit as well?

What can you do?

  1. Forex Affiliate says:

As far as we know, affiliates will be paid for their traffic sent until July 14th 2200GMT. But for the rest of the traffic after the date, they won't be paying out.

In regards to hitting a brick wall, we do have an option to ensure that such kind of rogue practices aren't attempted again.

Please keep watching this space, we will be rolling out something soon.

  2. I am pissed off as well for the short notice and for not yet receiving a reply to some questions, like for instance will affiliates receive the pending amounts that are owed? Will the customers that we sent still be able to invest with the software we promoted, and if they can, who will get the revenue share money that we have generated? Many more questions could be made, but i think we have hit a brick wall..

Exactly John. We tried digging a bit into the issue and noticed that 10Pips is managed by Plus500.

We are trying to contact the forex securities exchange and see if they can do something about it. What's appaling is that it isn't very easy to get rid of links pointing to 10Pips. Something which many webmasters have voiced.

We at ForexAffiliates Review are working on creating a model where Forex Affiliate Programs are held responsible for their actions.

    Will keep you posted.

    Thanks.

What I'm most upset about is the fact that Irit/10pips never informed me of this! I wrote to Irit to complain about this and she responded that the campaign was ending on the 20th of July, which is different from what others have received.

Very upsetting, and this is probably indicative of the quality of the company.
