My name is Liat, and I am the Marketing Director at AffiliatePLY.com I’ve been involved in the online affiliate marketing industry for nearly five years. I am experienced with all aspects of online marketing and advertising (media buying, SEO, PPC, forums, viral marketing), and has been around all the industry’s major conventions (Affiliate Summit, Ad Tech, SES, Webmaster World, CAP etc)

2. Can you give us a brief corporate overview of AffiliatePLY?
AffiliatePLY is a performance-based affiliate network that uses videos instead of banners. Affiliates can choose from a selection of videos provided by our advertisers, and simply embed them on their sites. AffiliatePLY videos are clickable and direct the users to the advertiser landing page.
3. How does video affect visitors in conversion of traffic for forex affiliates?
Videos as a whole convert much better than banner ads and other kind of traditional media, as they engage the user and have a strong call for action. The user actually sees what he’s going to get. Our videos present the product, and explain how to trade, so the user feels he knows the product and don’t buy a “cat in a bag”.
We also have Daily Forex News videos – it’s a daily video that is being updated automatically on the affiliate’s site once a day, and present the say’s news.
The results of such a content, that is being renewed every day, is returning users to the affiliates’ site, and better conversion, as they can see that this Forex product is up to date with all the market trends.
4. Why should affiliates use videos as compared to traditional banners?

- Leads to higher CTR, eCPM and better conversion (due to higher eCPM)

5. What about compatibility issues in regards to displaying/rendering your videos? Do your videos work on any browser/operating system or are there any technical limitations.
We use our own video player that can be implemented and served on any web site. Operating system. We work with thousands of publishers, and so far we didn’t come across any problems.
6. Don’t you think using videos would make a website slower?
Not really, as we do the streaming and the serving, and the site simply display the video. It might be a bit slower on the client side, but it only depends on the Bandwidth one has. Today, when everyone uses a wide Bandwidth, there shouldn’t be any problems.
7. What forex clients/merchants does AffiliatePLY work with?
We work with various Forex merchants: Easy-Forex, Ava Forex, Etoro, EZtrader, Forex Yard and Umoo.
8. What kind of support/assistance do you provide for affiliates signing up with AffiliatePLY and promoting forex videos?
Anything they need.
9. How does AffiliatePLY calculate commissions for traffic generated through using your forex videos?
Our commission is CPA based; we pay per sale, and up to $250 CPA.
10. What kind of stats do you provide for affiliates making use of forex videos through AffiliatePLY?
Impression, click, CTR, Conversion ratio, commission, Commissions per impression, commissions per click, Commissions per Sales, number of sales, total cost of sales, and average amount of sale.
11. The forex affiliate industry has and is growing quite fast since the last few years. Where do you see this industry go in the next 2 to 5 years and what advice would you give to affiliates to keep up the pace.
I think that we will see more and more new forex sites and platforms coming and the competition will rise, in all levels: PPC, SEO etc. Affiliates should work only with reliable platforms that had been around the market for a while, give accurate stats and pays on time. They should watch out from new Forex platforms that offer unrealistic high commission.
I think that affiliates should build a good and rich in content site for better traffic and conversion. Since Forex is a very dynamic market, and each slight change affects the trade, the affiliate need to have his site updated with the current trends and news, and to give the user as many tips and tools to maximize their revenues.
I would also recommend affiliates to add other trading platforms, and just Forex to the list of offers on the site – to diversify the options.
