Right now I have been using a guy that I found online and while I have seen a fairly steady increase in traffic, I am not seeing the traffic converted into sales (I have used him for my forex site and another site that I am getting setup). I might drop him.
While many (successful) internet marketers seem to outsource the task, there are still many marketers promoting their business with tight budget (including me LOL) that use the SEO tools. I find Google Webmasters Tools provides many stats we need to know to increase our website performance.
Oh good! I was starting to think that I may be one of the few who were starting out and still continue to take on the tasks that I am capable of.

I don't see as many people using SEO tools these days. It seems like everyone is outsourcing but I was just curious if anyone still used them. I meant the Webmaster Tools but analytics are great too!
I agree with Steven. There are still many internet users who use search engines other than Google. You should submit your websites to at least three major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing).
Even though everyone agrees that Google is the number one search engine, there are still other search engines where you can submit your websites and blogs. I suggest that you diversify submissions. You will have broader window of exposure if you have submissions to different search engines.
What do you mean with Google tools? Is it Google Webmaster Tools or Google Analytics? I never use Google Analytics, but always make good use of Google Webmaster Tools. I submit all my websites and blogs there.
